The Business Class Awards Ceremony 2024 recap is here! ?? Those in attendance gathered in Baker Center last Wednesday. Speakers such as Dr. Jim Strode, Dr. Mel Kulp, and Dean Pidcock were able to share a little bit about the ideation, construction, and success of the Business Class concept. Business Class was created with the intention of supporting and empowering student organizations within the College of Business. Within its first year, from professional development initiatives to financial support, it did just that! Earlier today, some members of our chapter came together with other Ohio University College of Business organizations at the SE Ohio Foodbank! They had an amazing time packaging food for those in need. In total over 300 Individuals will be fed with the supplemental packages made today!?

Last night, I delivered my first professional development workshop to Pi Sigma Epsilon - Ohio University as Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. I curated what I called "The Name Game", which focused on the significance of names and self-expression. Not only is kindness and respect integral within our brotherhood, but it is also a key to success as we all emerge as business leaders! Thank you once again to the brothers of the Eta Pi for entrusting me with this position! Looking forwards to an amazing Spring 2024 Recruitment Week (check @ pseohio on IG for more info??)

As the semester starts back up, I wanted to share some of the exciting things I've been up to over break. Toward the end of the semester, I was elected President of Pi Sigma Epsilon - Ohio University, which was a monumental experience. Having been a part of the chapter for close to 3 years, I've seen it grow immensely. Through professional development opportunities, sales projects, and guidance from our national organization, the 40-member chapter has grown to over 100, many of which I'm proud to call my closest peers. I want to thank Jake “Mo” Moses for helping me transition into this role as well as my entire new executive board (Emily Grande, Natalie Netcher, Lily Branch, Johnathan Kulich, Olivia Commins, Kayla Slaughterbeck, Jenna Gigliotti, Ren Gradel, and Josh Dill) for working tirelessly over this break to plan this upcoming semester. I am also proud to announce that I achieved Presidents list for the Fall semester of 2023. Through dedication, countless work, and a lot of support from the faculty at Ohio University, I was able to achieve a 4.0 GPA for the academic semester. Im so excited to see what this upcoming semester holds!

As the semester comes to a start, our chapter?wanted to take a moment to recognize some of the outstanding academic achievements our amazing brothers have completed.? ? Congratulations to our members who’ve achieved Dean’s List as well as President’s List this past academic semester. Dean’s list is a distinction rewarded to undergraduate students who have completed a semester with a GPA between 3.5 and 3.999 with at least 12 credit hours here at Ohio University. President’s list represents students who have completed the semester with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Congratulations everyone, we are so proud of you!

I am writing with a heart full of gratitude as I bring my term as President of Pi Sigma Epsilon - Ohio University to an end. It has been an extraordinary journey that has granted me invaluable lessons in leadership, business, community, and the true essence of belonging. I want to express my deepest appreciation to the exceptional executive board that I had the honor to serve with: Maya Alonso, Tim Hammond, Emily Grande, Lia Moore, Zach Evans, Natalie Netcher, Chase Harrison, Abigail McAnerney, and Sofia Aguiluz Your dedication, collaboration, and unwavering support have made this journey a fulfilling and transformative experience. I want to thank all 110+ members of the Eta Pi chapter for entrusting me with the responsibility of leading as President. Serving the Eta Pi chapter has been a genuine honor, and I am grateful for the trust and support bestowed upon me. As I leave this role, I want to congratulate the incoming executive board for 2024: Tim Hammond, Emily Grande, Johnathan Kulich, Natalie Netcher, Lily Branch, Olivia Commins, Kayla Slaughterbeck, Jenna Gigliotti, Ren Gradel, and Josh Dill Your commitment and passion for PSE are commendable, and I have no doubt that you will lead the chapter to new heights.
