Lindsey, post-transplant PSC patient, just completed her 13th visit to Virginia Tech medical students, culminating a week of case study for the students. "She's made an impact on several hundred med students over the years and brought awareness to PSC and to PSC Partners," says Lindsey's mom Sharon. Great job, Lindsey and Sharon! Brooke, the mom of a #PSC daughter who is not in need of a liver transplant, is in the process of being approved to make a living liver donation to someone in need before she ages out of eligibility. At the Conference, she was in the lunch line and noticed the t-shirt of the woman directly in front of her. The shirt said, "I need a liver." It was Michelle. Both women are the same blood type. They now are going through the process of seeing if it's a match, so Brooke can make a directed donation to Michelle. Wow! These amazing women have agreed to allow us to follow their story.
