Our PSC Foundation Scholarships Director and Coordinator, Mikenzie and Mary-Cathryn, had the special opportunity to meet with Northeast Pensacola Sertoma this morning and provide an update on the scholarship they hold at PSC! The Northeast Pensacola Sertoma Scholarship has spanned the length of 4 PSC Presidents since its establishment almost 30 years ago. Since 2002, this scholarship has provided $15,460 in student awards while their organization has collectively given $16,850 since 1997. We're so grateful to have had the opportunity to attend College Night with the Pensacola Ice Flyers (SPHL)! We had a great time representing Pensacola State College with our colleagues from PSC departments and programs who showed up and showed out to share all about the amazing opportunities at PSC and give away some Pirate swag to the community. With state-of-the-art technology from one of the most advanced simulation centers in the southeast, clinical opportunities across a variety of hospitals and specialties, and a team of highly experienced and committed educators and staff, it's no wonder that anywhere from 250 to 300 nursing students graduate each year from Pensacola State College confidently prepared to take on their healthcare careers. ???? ????
