During the Speed Selling Competition, they gave their “2 Minute Drill” to company recruiters and were given professional feedback. ??? ? Last weekend, the PSB Professional Selling Club at High Point University traveled to Maryland to participate in the National Shore Sales Challenge at Salisbury University - Perdue School of Business. The event was a prestigious gathering of around 80 of the best sales students. It provided an exceptional platform for learning, networking, and showcasing their skills. Our team actively participated in role-play and speed-selling rounds, which offered a unique opportunity to hone their skills and gain insights from some of the most accomplished sales students in the country. The team gained valuable experience and a deeper understanding of salesmanship and the industry. The role-play competition held last Saturday showcased the exceptional skills of Tyler Rumsey and Katie Downing, who both demonstrated remarkable performances. Notably, Tyler Rumsey's performance earned him a place in the top 15 out of 80 other students. During our trip, we were privileged to hear Kevin McAdams, the CEO of Perdue Farms deliver an encouraging speech. Additionally, we were fortunate enough to gather at Jim and Jan Perdues' house for games and appetizers. It was an outstanding experience to network with industry leaders and accomplished students.
