This milestone represents the successful conclusion of an exciting journey that began in June with a kickoff event in Antwerp. Over the months, participants developed their leadership skills, tackled challenges, and shared innovative solutions while building lasting connections. ?? During this final week, they presented their Trusting Teams Projects to Senior Leadership and their GDP Mentors -attending both in person and virtually- showcasing their creativity, hard work, and strategic insights. ?? PSA Antwerp and Combinant nv join forces to enhance hinterland connectivity. ???? ? Today, PSA Antwerp and Combinant signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to optimize the connectivity between PSA’s Deepsea Terminals and the Combinant Rail Terminal in the Port of Antwerp. The goal? To facilitate a modal shift from road to rail and enhance maritime intermodal rail solutions in Antwerp. The newly established trucking service will connect PSA's two deepsea terminals on the right bank of the river Scheldt (Noordzee and Europa Terminal) with the Combinant rail terminal in the north of the Port of Antwerp. ????? ? Through Hupac Group’s Combinant-Duisburg rail link, the recently opened DGT - Duisburg Gateway Terminal in Germany is now also seamlessly connected. During the session, Sophie Punte, Founder of the Smart Freight Centre and LifeLinks, and Jan-Christoph Napierski, Head of Public Affairs at the M?rsk Mc-Kinney M?ller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping, provided insights into the role of data visibility and standardized data practices in enhancing the effectiveness of sustainability strategies. ??
