Great event hosted by the Mays Family Institute on Diverse Philanthropy at Indiana University Indianapolis last night. Pascal Siakam of the Indiana Pacers discussed his journey from Cameroon to the NBA and the origins of PS43 Foundation. Executive Director Dakota Whyte, OLY, MBA shared her journey working with the foundation and its focus on sustainable education and digital literacy activities in Indianapolis, Toronto, and Cameroon. Today, I had the privilege of hearing from Pascal Siakam and Dakota Whyte, OLY, MBA, at an event hosted by the Mays Family Institute on Diverse Philanthropy and the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. It was truly inspiring to learn from leaders in our Indianapolis community. A special thank you to Una Osili for guiding a thoughtful discussion on the impact of sports philanthropy and the PS43 Foundation. The commitment of these professionals and their mission to give back to young people and their educational opportunities stands as a powerful testament to the influence of philanthropy.
