Last Friday, I had the opportunity to kick off something new—and deeply aligned with the work I love. I am excited to share that I’ve joined the first-ever cohort of the Developer in Residence (DIR) Program, hosted by PS wrx and sponsored by Robinhood. Our first session took place in the heart of Union Square, and it was a powerful start to a program grounded in purpose and impact! As someone who leads both operations and community at Brilla, I know that real estate and facilities strategy isn’t just logistics—it’s mission-critical. The DIR program brings together mission-centered leaders to grow in knowledge, expand networks, and elevate our collective impact in the communities we serve. Grateful to PS wrx and Robinhood for creating space for this work and investing in leaders who are building more than buildings—we’re building opportunity. Friday marked the first day of my Developer in Residence program at PS wrx where I’m part of the beta program! After reviewing dozens of applications, we’ve selected 18 exceptional NYC charter school leaders who are ready to take their expertise to the next level. Last Friday, our coaches and participants came together for an immersive day of learning, diving deep into Finance & Real Estate Strategy, Real Estate Development, and Facilities & Property Management. Over the next 15 months, our Residents will gain: ? High-impact, turnkey professional development ? Exclusive onsite visits to some of NYC’s most stunning school buildings ? 1:1 coaching with industry experts Stay tuned!
