I enjoyed a beautiful ride on the NY Ferry ?? yesterday after a NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) Procurement meeting for MWBE business owners. Sometimes it’s the little things like taking a ferry instead of a train to uplift your day. The meeting was very insightful and has me thinking more about partnerships with other businesses for contract opportunities. #nycmwbe #dot

I made some great connections at the NYCPS Open4Business MWBE conference. The NYCPS (DOE) partners with businesses for goods and services at schools. It was inspiring to hear from entrepreneurs like Dawn Kelly of The Nourish Spot. She started as a small business in Queens. She leveraged her MWBE certification. Her juice bar/healthy food business has had a presence at the US Open, Citi Field and more. She was able to grow her business through connections. There are so many talented MWBEs. Let’s work together!
