This past Saturday, PRSSA Emerson had an amazing time at the PRSSA Advanced Conference at Boston University! ?? We learned from incredible PR professionals, had insightful one-on-one conversations, and even got some personal career advice. Connecting with other young professionals was both exciting and inspiring, helping us build meaningful relationships in the industry. The best part? Today, I had the pleasure of co-moderating an insightful panel with Emerson American Marketing Association President Ava Williamson, featuring two accomplished industry professionals, Barbara Silvera Ramirez and Valerie Fuentes from Max Borges Agency. This joint event between PRSSA at Emerson College and American Marketing Association offered students an in-depth look at MBA’s innovative culture, standout campaigns and internship program, along with advice for students pursuing careers in PR and marketing. I’m incredibly grateful to Barbie and Valerie for taking the time to share their expertise and experiences with us. This has quickly become one of my favorite events to coordinate as PRSSA president, and I’m so proud of the amazing culture we’ve built this year. Special thanks to our events chairs, Samantha Switall, Sophie Rodrique and Victoria Kalala for their incredible work in coordinating such an amazing event. Looking forward to an amazing rest of the school year with my talented E-Board and more impactful events for our members!
