12.30 - Top Favorite Moment of 2023! Quincea?era 2023. Our fourth event was beautiful and so meaningful. Since its beginning, we have celebrated 45 girls, build amazing partenrships and showcase the talent of some many. Thank you to everyone involved this year. You made it beautiful. 12.29 - Number 2 Fav Memories of 2023 - Summer Camps! Two weeks of art, fun, and friendships!. The Mariposas Showcase included art and fashion. 12.28 - Number 3 - Volunteer Experiences!! "Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart" - Elizabeth Andrew In 2023, we met amazing humans through our outreach and volunteer opportunities. We are extremely thankful to the partnerships built with organizations, ERG, community, students and schools to help our mission move forward. We cannot do this alone and the help of our volunteers makes it possible. Your contributions to Proyecto Mariposas provide an opporutnity for our volunteers to learn about the organization, give back and close gaps for Latina girls and women. 12.27 -Number 4! Mariposas in School Programming! Meeting girls where they are. Our in-school programs provide girls with a safe space to have conversations, create art and learn from each other. A HUGE thank you to the teachers and advocates in schools that welcome us and coordinate for our organization to provide programming. In 2023, we were able to serve over 500 girls in schools (elementary to high school). It is a joy to see participants grow and shine. Number 5– Starting our Top 5 favorite moments of 2023. So many! Our board of directors summer meeting was wonderful. The amount of care and love for the organization is truly felt. In the fall, we completed our strategic framework and are super excited to share it along with activities and opportunities to learn more and be involved. We are braver and stronger together.
