CCIs (Child Care Institutions)?are homes for children who’ve lost what many of us take for granted—family, safety, or a stable childhood. Governed by the?Juvenile Justice Act, 2015, they provide care and protection to vulnerable children until the age of 18. But what happens after they leave? ?? 83% drop out before Class 12. ?? 61% earn less than ?15,000 per month. ?? Many end up in debt or face physical violence. Most CCIs, underfunded and understaffed, struggle to offer more than shelter. Without education, mental health support, or access to technology, these children are left unprepared for adulthood. Through our partnership with CCIs, we’re closing these gaps. Starting with web development training, we’re creating pathways to careers in India’s IT sector. Join us to make a difference. We are excited to announce our second CCI (Child Care Institute) collaboration! Supporting organizations that make a real difference is at the heart of what we do. Since 2003, SES has provided a home for hundreds of children needing care and protection, offering the infrastructure and facilities that enable high-quality learning opportunities. We are taking a step forward in equipping children with essential tech skills. Initially, we will focus on web development and eventually expand into other tech areas. This initiative will empower these children to pursue careers in the IT sector, opening up opportunities beyond blue-collar jobs and helping them reach their full potential. Our students began with fundamental concepts like variables - those essential building blocks of programming that store and manipulate data. ?? Today marks a significant milestone for the Proximity Foundation — welcoming these talented students to our Web Development Program. In a world where tech careers are often gated behind expensive bootcamps and four-year degrees, we're creating a different path.
