Providence is honored to be part of the Women in Media Investing (WIMI) initiative for the 2nd year in a row. WIMI seeks to promote connectivity amongst media and entertainment investors through increasing engagement, educating the next generation of investment professionals, and facilitating networking opportunities. This year's panel was focused on engaging early career female finance professionals. Providence Vice President, Ahana Maken?along with Alicia Zhu, Hayley Donaldson, and Glenda Chan shared how they built their careers in media investing, ways that investors shape the media and entertainment landscape, and recent market trends affecting these industries. Since our investment in 2017, Globeducate has expanded from 21 schools with around 11,000 students in 4 countries to a network of 65 schools educating over 40,000 students in 11 countries.
