When it comes to unwinding after work, you’ll often find us at Desperate Times Brewery, Back Porch Brewing, or Molly Pitcher Brewing Co., enjoying locally brewed beer. For a great meal, Gingerbread Man is a longtime local favorite, and One13 Social serves up delicious food with a great atmosphere. And no food tour of Carlisle is complete without a stop at The Hamilton for a Hotchee Dog. This local legend starts with a hot dog in a bun, topped with a slice of American cheese, slathered in Hotchee sauce, finished with a squirt of mustard, and piled high with diced onions. We’re excited to highlight the new pavilion at Camp Morasha, where we provided structural and electrical engineering services for this pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) structure. Project highlights include: ? Shallow concrete spread footings with column piers for “pin-base” reactions ? Foundation design tailored for the raised stage area ? 100-foot concrete site retaining wall ? Lighting layout with photometric calculations and local controls ? I began my career with Ritchie Engineering twenty years ago, so I came along for the ride when Ritchie Engineering merged with Providence. I stayed because I love the people and the variety – I love coming up with solutions to unique problems. ??. ???????? ???????? ?????????? ???? ????????????????-?????????? ???????? ???? ??????? To me, being an employee-owner means being invested in my own future. Our efforts benefit Providence which in turn benefits each of us directly. ??. ???? ?????? ??????????’?? ???? ????????????????, ???????? ???????????????????? ?????????? ?????? ???? ????? If I wasn't an engineer, I think I would have been a surgeon. I love repairing my appliances when they break. I grew up on a commercial chicken farm. My weekend job in high school was packing 100,000+ eggs for shipment each day. If you don’t know our story, our branch was founded in 2017 when Providence Engineering merged with Ritchie Engineering. Since then, we’ve been tackling structural engineering projects of all kinds—all while having some fun along the way. Our branch consists of a great group of?Project Managers—Travis Soprano, Andrew Douma, and Aaron King—who bring a combined 61 years of experience and are licensed in 36 states. We are supported in our efforts by Vice President, Business Development Dan Confer and Vice President, Structural Engineering Matthew Kalmanowicz. When we’re not busy designing safe and efficient structures, you can find us giving back through local volunteer efforts or enjoying time together as a team.
