Providence keeps kids safe and families together, embracing them with support to enhance stability that strengthens communities. We offer free, voluntary emergency shelter and services to children from newborn through twelve years old in a loving, trauma-informed, home-like setting while our Social Work Team helps parents and guardians address their challenges through family preservation services, including case management, counseling, parent education, and connections to more than 130 community partners, to enhance stability for the future. We also provide family preservation services in the community through our Community Education and Resiliency Program.

Our friends the United Way of Greater Cleveland Emerging Leaders are hosting a networking and donation event to support the children and families of Providence House next Thursday, October 24. We'll be at Noble Beast Brewing with our PHriends for this fun event for young professionals and community leaders. The event features raffles, appetizers, drinks, and a donation drive. One ticket grants access to the event, food, and 1 drink ticket. For every item donated, you will receive a raffle ticket! Cheer on the Browns with us this Sunday ?? Providence House will be at Goldhorn Brewery this Sunday, October 13 for the EmbraceCLE Browns Tailgate and Watch Party from 12:30 - 4 pm?? We're participating in the EmbraceCLE Challenge all month long alongside other great nonprofits to see who can raise the most money and win cash prizes from Embrace Pet Insurance! Goldhorn is donating $1 of every drink sold to the EmbraceCLE nonprofits, including Providence House! We're so grateful to our friends at Community West Foundation ?? Providence House has received two incredible grants from our longtime partners at Community West to help us preserve families through foster care prevention. We work with families in crisis to prevent traumatic removals and foster care placements by providing Family Preservation services that address the root causes of family crises and address the reasons for removals, such as housing instability, mental health and substance use challenges, and essential need resource gaps. Providence House is a national leader in the prevention of child maltreatment, foster care prevention, and Family Preservation. After engaging in our programs and services, 99% of the children we care for go home to stronger, more stable families! We also want to thank the Mr. and Mrs. William R. Oatey Fund and The Oatey Foundation for their generous donations to Community West that helped make this critical funding possible! We are honored and truly appreciate this support of our children and families!
