Exciting news from Prosperum! We were honored to have our CEO, Taylor Stoddart be selected to represent Prosperum as a finalist in BizPitch, a competition hosted by the Holmes Center for Entrepreneurship recognizing innovative startups. We're proud to have received the 'Most Socially Impactful' award, highlighting our commitment to revolutionizing student health. Our participation in BizPitch allowed us to showcase our approach to addressing the unique challenges faced by students, especially survivors of sexual assault, in accessing essential healthcare products on college campuses. Our self-service machines provide discreet and safe access to over-the-counter medication and sexual healthcare products. We're grateful for the opportunity to share our mission with a wider audience and to be recognized for our impact. We would like to thank the Holmes Center for Entrepreneurship for this incredible opportunity and the judges panel for taking time out of their day to help young entrepreneurs like ourselves learn and grow. We are thrilled to announce a major milestone for Prosperum: the launch of our pilot machine in Middlebrook Hall at the University of Minnesota. Our in-house self-service health retail machine is now providing discreet access to over-the-counter medication and sexual healthcare products for students. This achievement marks a significant step towards our mission of revolutionizing access to essential healthcare products on college campuses. We are incredibly grateful for the hard work and dedication of our team, Howie Peterson, Rachel Holliday, and Taylor Stoddart and partners from the University of Minnesota, who have worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life. We are committed to transforming student health and wellness by addressing the unique challenges faced on college campuses, especially survivors of sexual assault, in accessing essential healthcare products. Our journey began with a profound realization of the systemic barriers survivors face. Following a personal experience of our CEO that highlighted the difficulties in obtaining over-the-counter medication and sexual healthcare products. In response, we founded Prosperum. Sexual assault is a pervasive issue on college campuses, affecting millions of students each year. Survivors often encounter significant challenges in accessing the care and products they need due to various factors, including high rates of violent crime on and around campus, stigma, lack of awareness and discreteness at stores located near campus, as well as overall limited access to resources. Through our self-service machines strategically placed in student-based housing, Prosperum aims to break down these barriers. By providing discreet, convenient, and affordable access to these products. Our goal is to make the world a bit softer for all students in need of essential care products especially those who have been the victim of sexual assault.? Our goal is not to empower victims, but to help them empower themselves. We believe in creating a supportive community that fosters growth and resilience.
