Ruth Morrison is part of our Prospect Airport Services, Inc. team and a beacon of inspiration to everyone who knows her. As we commemorate the anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act this week, we celebrate employees like Ruth who are a shining example of someone who doesn't let their disability define them, or hold them back!

Hosting our quarterly town halls is always memorable, and our recent event in Chicago was particularly special because I was joined not only by employees from Unifi, but also members from our affiliated companies who were gathered in one room. It was exciting to share the great news that Unifi was recently named as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces by Newsweek. This is such an honor and a recognition we are proud to accept. Another highlight was my conversation with Vicki Strobel, the CEO of Prospect Airport Services, Inc., which we acquired in April. Vicki spoke about the acquisition, sharing her thoughts on why it made sense given the strong alignment of values, as well as how the last three months have been since officially becoming a part of Unifi. Our SVP of Operations, Jeff Neikirk offered an update on operational performance, emphasizing the importance of safety, especially during the heat waves we’re seeing this summer. His message is a crucial reminder for all of us. And then my favorite part, recognizing some of our amazing employees, like Rolando and Christopher, who were honored for their outstanding performance in consistently ensuring safety in operations. There's nothing quite like spending time with our frontline employees, who are the true drivers of our business.

We’ve got some big news to share. 📢 Today, Prospect Airport Services announced its acquisition by the Atlanta-based @UnifiAviation. The company is part of the privately held @ArgenbrightGroup with a presence in more than 200 airports. We are grateful to be joining a company as dedicated to its people and operational excellence as we are. We are also thrilled to announce that daily operations at Prospect will continue unchanged, with no planned reduction in the workforce. A heartfelt gratitude to all Prospect employees and leaders for their unwavering, continued commitment to our customers and travelers.

Special thanks to our Prospect employees in JAX. Well deserved recognition for assisting a passenger during a medical emergency. All were recognized by the Jacksonville Airport Authority for their efforts as Good Samaritan’s. Great work team JAX!
