For the past two years the team at ProPublica has been working to shine a light on the stillbirth crisis in the U.S., the impact it has on families, and what is being done to prevent preventable stillbirths. Their new documentary, "Before a Breath," premiered this week. It covers the stories of three mothers who personally experienced the tragedy of stillbirth and what they are doing to impact change for other families.
