?? Proparco joins the EBRD's #Trade Facilitation Programme for Ukraine! ???? In order to support the Ukrainian #private sector as well as the country's exporters and importers, Proparco has announced that it will provide a risk-sharing #guarantee of 20 million dollars to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Fran?oise LOMBARD, CEO of Proparco, said: “We are proud to partner with the EBRD and British International Investment on this vital initiative. Strengthening trade finance is crucial—it enables Ukrainian banks to maintain essential trade operations, keeping businesses running and ensuring critical supplies reach those in need. DFIs stand firmly alongside Ukraine, supporting its journey toward a stronger, more resilient future.” ?? This partnership is based on a plan developed last year by development finance institutions #DFIs, including Proparco, to collaborate on co-investments in the Ukrainian private sector. It will strengthen the EBRD's ability to support import and export activities in Ukraine, ensuring that the country can continue to trade with its international partners and provide essential goods and services to its citizens. The bank has joined the #2XChallenge initiative. ?? Cette perte, appelée NRW (pour Non-Revenue Water, eaux non génératrices de revenus, en fran?ais), est le paramètre le plus crucial dans la gestion d’un service public de l’eau. Elle représente le volume hydrique produit et mis en circulation dans le système de distribution, mais qui ne génère pas de revenus parce que cette eau est soit perdue, soit non comptabilisée avant d’atteindre le consommateur final. ?? Au #Nigéria, Nutri K Limited - Groupe Nutriset s’engage aux c?tés des agriculteurs locaux en renfor?ant ses partenariats avec les producteurs d’arachides, pour une filière agricole durable et bénéfique pour les communautés rurales. ? Avec la construction en cours d’une usine à Kano, au nord du pays, Nutrik a pour ambition d’augmenter la production d’aliments thérapeutiques prêts à l’emploi (RUTF), essentiels pour répondre aux urgences nutritionnelles dans le pays et ses voisins. ? ??Dans un pays où près de 12,1 millions d’enfants de moins de 5 ans souffrent d’un retard de croissance, ce projet apporte une réponse concrète aux défis de la sécurité alimentaire, tout en soutenant l’économie locale et en réduisant la dépendance aux importations. ????
