Our Neighborhood Series returns this weekend! Led by Creative Partner and violinist Vadim Gluzman, you’ll experience both the whimsical and virtuosic sides of Mendelssohn, from his Wedding March from "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" to his timeless Violin Concerto in E Minor, performed by rising star violinist Hina Khuong-Huu. Multifaceted star vocalist Storm Large, of Pink Martini fame, makes her ProMusica debut performing the dual role of Anna in Kurt Weill’s masterpiece, "The Seven Deadly Sins." The work’s deep satirical expression is contrasted by Schubert’s classical and elegant Symphony No. 5, brilliantly led by our Music Director David Danzmayr to open our 46th season.
