One of our outstanding ProKo consultants, Caryn DeBell, has been helping a client prepare the training strategy and details for a series of SAP rollouts at their factories. As part of that training strategy, the company is using a train-the-trainer approach to reach their employees. Caryn helped organize an onboarding session with the trainers last week.?Afterward, one of the leaders turned to another leader and said, "This is the most organized training I've seen for an IT project here...ever!" This allows the consultant to keep more of what they earn by taking business tax deductions, and it allows the client to avoid paying an 18-50% mark-up on the consultant’s rates. A dramatically lower mark-up means that more of the client’s budget is going to the consultant, so they can afford higher caliber talent.
