Today marks 1,000 days since the start of the war in Ukraine - a sobering milestone that’s difficult to truly comprehend. Yet, amidst the hardships, one truth remains: the only way forward is through support - support for people like us, for families like ours, and for children who have lost everything, including, for many, the most precious thing of all—their parents. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, and our partnership with the incredible Ukrainian organization Children of Heroes, we’ve been able to provide vital resources to children like Ratmir, Alinka, and Levon. Electronic devices that we provided, have become lifelines, allowing them to learn, connect, and heal—both through online school and therapy sessions. The kindness and generosity of our donors make all the difference, bringing not just resources but also hope for a brighter tomorrow for these kids. ?? We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Children of Heroes in Ukraine to support kids who've lost one or both parents due to the war. Earlier this year, we launched an art therapy program for 100 children, helping them overcome trauma and find healing. ???? Now, with new tablets for 51 children, we’re ensuring they can stay connected to both therapy and online school, even with frequent power outages. Ukrainian children who have survived the loss of one or both parents since the start of the war, and now living in war conditions are especially vulnerable. They are experiencing pain, fear, and loneliness. ?? Art therapy serves as a sanctuary for them, providing a space to process their emotions and find the strength to heal and move forward.
