Some ideas to recognize and celebrate the contributions of members: - Highlighting outstanding members with awards at an event provides a sense of pride and belonging within the association community. When members see their peers acknowledged for their achievements, it creates an aspirational environment that encourages others to get more involved. - Featuring members as speakers provides a platform for them to share their expertise and, in turn, empowers them and enhances their connection to the association. This is also a good opportunity to highlight a case study on how someone’s success drew upon the collective knowledge and support of the association community. - Providing leadership opportunities plays an important role in member engagement. I came to Projection looking for a freelance tech opportunity and had heard great things about the company. Our AV team and Projection’s loyalty to its employees through offering trainings and advancement opportunities has kept me on board. ?? ????????’?? ???????? ???????????????? ???????? ?????????? ?????????????? ???????? ?????? ?????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????? ????????? The comradery.?I enjoy working in AV and consider our BCC Projection team my second family. ?? ???? ?????? ???????? ?????? ???????????? ?????????????? ???? ?????????????? ???????????? ?????????? ?????? ???????? ??????????? I have two black belts, one in Shoto Kan and the other in Tae Kwon Do.?I have been in the martial arts since 1972 (I’m old, lol!). I fought full contact for years and was scheduled to fight in the World Games in 1986 but suffered a bad ankle injury from a tournament.?I also play clarinet, write, and enjoy working outdoors. I studied acting in Australia while living there in the early 1980s. I also volunteer for animal rescue groups when possible. ?? ????????’?? ?????? ???????????????????????????? ???? ???????? ???????? ??????’???? ???????????????????? ?????????? ????? I am always proud of the team when clients leave happy and compliment our services. ?? ????????’?? ???????? ???????????????? ?????? ???? ?????????? ???? ???????? ??????? Any beach, sporting events, movies, or simply lazing in front of the TV.?I grew up traveling and continue to enjoy it.?The world is a big place, there’s so much to see, learn, and do! Working with a “maker space” at the university, Diddi created name tags with participants’ names laser-cut into pieces fashioned from wood scraps, attached to surplus lanyards. A great look at how Projection client, The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), used the Seattle Convention Center campus creatively to meet the needs of its members/attendees. Barbara Bruns Palmer: "I knew going in that a major part of ASHA’s mission was to make speech and language accessible to everyone. Fast Tracks — the more than 60 educational sessions, workshops, and experiences offered at the annual four-day festival in New York City — are a primary draw of the festival. This past week, we had the incredible opportunity to come together as a team for our annual AVU in Atlanta – home of our National Distribution Center and incredible warehouse team.
