My sister Jayne has influenced my life both professionally and personally. She has been a nurse for 40 years. She has a caring heart and always puts others first. I watched her balance her career while raising two kids. We lost our parents to cancer at an early age, she chose to honor our parents to help other cancer patients by working in an infusion facility at UC Davis Medical in Northern CA. She shows her patients love and compassion just like she does to our family. One of my goals throughout my career has been to show the same compassion each day with the internal and external customers I interact with! ?? ???????? ???? ???????? ???????????????? ?????????? ?????????? ?????????????? ???????? ???????? ????????? My favorite thing about working at Projection is the culture. I feel appreciated. I enjoy going into the office each day. The culture is positive and there is a good balance of working and spending time with our families. We all work together as a team. I am happy to be part of a team that cares for the customers and the future of Projection. ???? ???????? ???????????????? ???? ???????????????????????? ?????????????????? ?????? ?????? ???????? ?????????????? ???? ?????????????? ???? ?????? ????????????? Milestones I am focusing on are to help the Projection team reach our yearly goals and continue learning and growing in my career and my personal life. I would like to become a CMA (Certified Management Accountant). This certification will help me learn and grow in my career so I can give back to Projection. ???? ???????? ???? ?????? ???????? ???? ???? ???? ???????? ???????? ???????? ???? ???? ????????????? I enjoy working out in the gym or outdoors. Spin classes are my favorite! I ran and walked in the Broadstreet Run in Philadelphia - the best experience/challenge ever. I love spending time with my family. We live all over the county from VA to Tampa, Northern CA up to Salem, OR and Seattle. I have eight nieces/nephews and two great nephews. I enjoy watching all sports, I am a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan! ?? ???????? ???? ?????????????????? ?????? ?????? ?????????????? ?????????????? ???? ??????????????????? I look forward to being a part of Business Central Implementation this year. We have started the process and change is always good, especially when Projection is growing as a company! There is a lot of opportunity for venues to build loyalty with planners by actively bringing up solutions for minimizing food waste at their events. When members see their peers acknowledged for their achievements, it creates an aspirational environment that encourages others to get more involved. - Featuring members as speakers provides a platform for them to share their expertise and, in turn, empowers them and enhances their connection to the association. This is also a good opportunity to highlight a case study on how someone’s success drew upon the collective knowledge and support of the association community. - Providing leadership opportunities plays an important role in member engagement. I came to Projection looking for a freelance tech opportunity and had heard great things about the company. Our AV team and Projection’s loyalty to its employees through offering trainings and advancement opportunities has kept me on board. ?? ????????’?? ???????? ???????????????? ???????? ?????????? ?????????????? ???????? ?????? ?????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????? ????????? The comradery.?I enjoy working in AV and consider our BCC Projection team my second family. ?? ???? ?????? ???????? ?????? ???????????? ?????????????? ???? ?????????????? ???????????? ?????????? ?????? ???????? ??????????? I have two black belts, one in Shoto Kan and the other in Tae Kwon Do.?I have been in the martial arts since 1972 (I’m old, lol!). I fought full contact for years and was scheduled to fight in the World Games in 1986 but suffered a bad ankle injury from a tournament.?I also play clarinet, write, and enjoy working outdoors. I studied acting in Australia while living there in the early 1980s. I also volunteer for animal rescue groups when possible. ?? ????????’?? ?????? ???????????????????????????? ???? ???????? ???????? ??????’???? ???????????????????? ?????????? ?????
