Flexibility is fundamental to building a successful emissions management program.?Change is constant—and overhauling an internal system to meet the latest regulation or framework quickly becomes costly and inefficient.? ? Whether you’re using cameras, flyovers, or continuous monitors, what matters most is having a system that evolves alongside new rules and technologies.? The outcome? Adaptability, targeted refinements as you learn, and a program built to last.? Emissions management isn’t static—your approach shouldn’t be either. #emissionsdata #emissionsdatamanagement

In this clip from our recent podcast with Highwood Emissions Management, Thomas Fox highlights how they've systematized sampling and uncertainty in their Emissions Intelligence Platform (EIP), ensuring operators get the most accurate and actionable emissions data. ?? Great conversations drive great innovation. ?? Earlier this month, our own Thomas Fox sat down with William Foiles, CFA and Caroline Dunn of Project Canary to discuss how Highwood Emissions Management is helping operators take an outcomes-based approach to Measurement-Informed Inventories (MIIs). In this clip, Thomas highlights how we’ve systematized sampling and uncertainty in our Emissions Intelligence Platform (EIP), ensuring operators get the most accurate and actionable emissions data. He also dives into how we leverage tools like LDAR-Sim to help companies design optimal sampling strategies based on their unique needs. ?? We tell every operator we meet with that there’s no silver bullet. No one-size-fits-all solution to measuring emissions.?? ? We recognize the ecosystem is full of smart people who have built incredible technologies—cameras, satellites, continuous monitors—but too often, the industry gets caught in a “my tech is better than yours” debate.? ? We take a different approach: recognizing the value of all data types and building a platform that brings them together. The result? A tailored, tech-agnostic solution that delivers on the objectives operators care about.?? ? Podcast: Navigating Carbon Full episode: https://lnkd.in/gfrMgBNM #emissionsdata #energyindustry

What’s driving your emissions strategy?? The drive for operational excellence??? Or steering clear of the next headline?? Maybe it’s about compliance—avoiding costly fines. ? ? Whatever your driver, the goal is clear: reduce variability, reduce risk. And we’re here to help you focus on what matters most to your business.? ? ?? Big Changes to Subpart W Are Here ?? Are you ready for site-level reporting under the new Subpart W? Major updates are coming for reporting year 2025, and operators are starting to prepare. Key Updates: ? Pad/Site-Level Reporting: Onshore production must now report emissions at the pad/site level instead of the basin level. ? More Data for EPA Audits: Increased data detail makes it easier for the EPA to audit reports and verify accuracy. ? New Sources and Calculations: Updated methods and new sources mean now is the time to set up a strong data structure to handle these and future changes.? ? ?? ??? How can operators maximize the value of their methane measurement investment??Take a risk-based approach.?? ? Case Study:? ? Problem:?? A customer with thousands of well sites deployed multiple monitoring technologies. They focused on high-production sites to reduce the cost per unit of gas produced but missed a critical risk: super emitters.? ? ? Solution:?? We pushed them to think differently. By integrating satellite and flyover data with continuous monitoring, we identified where risk was truly elevated. The result? Redeploying assets smarter, harmonizing leak detection, and reducing emissions risk across the board.? ? ? Takeaway:?? Deploying technology effectively is about finding the right solution for the right asset, which often means looking deeper into the data you already have. We’re here to help.? Thanks to Deb Ryan for hosting a great discussion. Check out Navigating Carbon if you haven’t already!?? ? Full episode: https://lnkd.in/gfrMgBNM?

In the spirit of the OGMP 2.0 Annual Conference kicking off in Rio de Janeiro this week, we hopped on with the brilliant Thomas Fox of Highwood Emissions Management.??? ? It was a true masterclass in all things OGMP 2.0 – from common challenges to a deep dive into the nuance of how measurement technologies play a role in the framework –?it’s well worth the listen. We had a blast.? Watch the podcast: https://lnkd.in/gazTBwpB ? If long-form podcasts aren’t for you, more clips will be shared from both Highwood and ourselves in the coming weeks.? #methanemanagement #energyindustry
