We are incredibly grateful to Empowerment Farm for the opportunity to support PROJECT B.U.I.L.D. SWFL by crafting picnic tables for their fall festival. Our CEO Aram Wheatley, MBA had the opportunity to attend the FHI 360 workshop alongside our board member, DeMarcus Varner . We gained valuable insights on reporting for Federal Department of Labor grants, which will significantly enhance how we manage and report for PROJECT B.U.I.L.D. SWFL . This workshop was an eye-opener and provided essential tools that will help us improve our grant reporting skills, ensuring that we carry out our workforce development initiatives more effectively. This game-changing opportunity will allow us to empower young adults ages 18-24 in Southwest Florida with vital workforce development and training. From OSHA-10 construction, first aid CPR, forklift training, and carpentry, we’re setting these youth up for success, preventing incarceration and homelessness, and making them employable. Plus, we’re going the extra mile with job assistance to help them secure their future.
