Exciting news! This past week we have launched our first donation campaign in partnership with Scripture Union Ghana! ?? Scripture Union is an international Christian organization with a presence in over 130 countries. Together, we're piloting a program to empower 100-180 girls in Ghana. These amazing young women (pictured with privacy in mind) are some of the girls you’ve heard on our Period Podcast Fridays over on our Instagram (@projectbloominc). We've been supporting them with disposable pads, but now we're aiming for even bigger impact! ?? With your help, we can provide: Sustainable Menstrual Products: Eco-friendly, reusable options like cloth pads from trusted brands. This is a long-term solution for both the girls and the environment! Menstrual Education Workshops: Community-based sessions led by trained professionals to break down stigma and provide accurate information about menstrual health. Educational Materials: Easy-to-understand pamphlets and booklets about periods, hygiene, and reproductive health, created with local needs in mind. Your donation will help break down barriers and provide these girls with the resources they need to thrive. Happy Menstrual Hygiene Day! May 28th was recognized as Menstrual Hygiene Day by the German NGO (non-governmental organization) WASH United, to de-stigmatize menstruation and raise awareness for the importance of safe menstrual hygiene practices. This day has been recognized internationally since 2014. Here at Project Bloom we hope to empower menstruators not only today, but every day.
