The CDC’s Division of HIV Prevention is under attack. There’s an urgent effort to eliminate it, possibly within the next 24 hours. If these cuts go through, we risk undoing years of progress in the fight against HIV and leaving our communities vulnerable. We cannot let this happen. That’s 492 times we had the honor of offering a safe space, a listening ear, and support to members of our Pawtucket and Central Falls community. Our Drop-In isn’t just about harm reduction supplies—it’s about creating a place where people can feel loved, cared for, and truly seen. Whether it’s a warm meal, a support group, or just a quiet space to breathe, we’re here.
