Project Unicorn had the incredible opportunity to attend the 2024 SETDA Leadership Summit as a partner, and it was truly an enlightening experience! Engaging with industry leaders, educators, and fellow partners from across the country, we gained fresh perspectives on the future of digital learning, data privacy, and the role of interoperability in K-12 education. The discussions around emerging trends and best practices reinforced the importance of collaboration in driving impactful change for students and educators. We're leaving this summit with renewed energy and ideas, inspired to continue advocating for solutions that promote student success and educational equity. What an incredible experience at #EdTechWeek2024! The energy and passion at the conference were electric. I was thrilled to moderate a standing-room-only panel on AI, Ethics, and Efficacy in education that included Jim Larimore, Tara Carrozza, Linda Feng, and John Kennedy. The attendance and participation exceeded all expectations, showing just how vital these conversations are for the future of learning. Our discussion centered on the EDSAFE AI Alliance’s SAFE Framework—Safety, Accountability, Fairness, and Efficacy—which explores how we can harness AI to enhance educational outcomes while protecting privacy and equity responsibly. We unpacked real-world applications, shared inspiring success stories, and examined critical trends—from transparency and fairness to ensuring that AI truly works for all students.
