Meet the 2023-2024 Morgan Stanley Fellowship cohort: Shreya Chawla has helped Project Read create a self-sustaining model to recruit and manage new students and volunteers. Her project has assisted with capacity building and supported the expansion of Project Read’s programs. Project Read changes lives through literacy to empower individuals, strengthen families, and build communities. Through individual and group instruction, Project Read helps people improve their ability to read, write, compute, and use technology to meet personal goals, function well in society, and become more productive citizens. “The Morgan Stanley Fellowship is an opportunity to learn from and give back to our society. I am a big proponent of education, so it has been incredibly impactful to work at an organization that uplifts education and adult literacy around Utah,” Shreya said.
