To start the year, 100% of our employees agreed to participate in our Wellness Challenge for the month of January. Here are the rules:
January Wellness Challenge: This is a fun way to get healthy in January.? It’s not 100% based on weight, but 100% based on creating some healthy habits.? You don’t have to log your weight for everyone to see, but you can.?
Honor System - Everyone is on the honor system with putting in your scores.
Winner with the most points will get a $200 USD bonus first paycheck in February.
Here is the criteria:
?? Workout Points (1 point per 30 minute workout, up to 2 points maximum per day)
?? Healthy Eating Points (1 point per day for healthy meals logged). We will have to discuss exactly what this means.
?? Water Consumption - 1 point per day for drinking 64 ounces of water a day.
?? Weight Loss Point (1 point per 1% of weight loss) to determine weight loss, you: Starting Weight - Current Weight) / Starting Weight x 100 = % Weight Lost
?? Bonus Challenge:?You must hit 8000 steps a day Monday through Friday to earn 3 extra points this week (We have a different bonus task each week).
Everyone seems pretty dedicated to inspire and motivate each other, so that makes me excited.
