?? Surprise from Vegas! ?? Our PMI team had a great time in Vegas for the CertainTeed event, but little did we know one of our own had bigger plans! Eric decided to extend his trip so he and his girlfriend, Kysha, could experience Vegas together for the first time. Well… last night, we got a text that took us all by surprise—a picture of the two of them getting MARRIED under the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Hotel! Congrats to Eric & Kysha! Let's Go! Field Turf... Here we come. What a great experience this past week.
As many of you know, Project Map It has done a great job in the Roofing/Siding and exterior remodeling space. Well... this past week, I had the pleasure of learning from the industry leaders in field turf. FieldTurf Landscape invited me to Tampa Florida for their annual conference, that had 10 vendor partners and 23 dealers in attendance. What an amazing two days. I learned so much from all of the attendies and I am really excited to say we already have 5 new clients. More importantly, I was able to present to the attendees about the importance of leverage your past work ("social proof"), including the imporance of having a solid website, use of visual presentations and the value of gaining more reviews. What an awesome time is all I can say. A special shoutout to Jay Holguin, Bradley Timsit for seeing the value in our product and asking me to present! ?? Thank you also to @sarah Jones (sorry I can't find your LI page) for communicating with me leading up to the event! A special thanks to Troy Scott for working with me to build out a map for Heavenly Greens, so I could showcase to all of the dealers. I just want to say how proud I am of Patrick Martinek, who just traveled to an SRS Distribution Inc. expo in California and presented in front of contractors for the first time. As our company grows and we travel to more events, we needed someone to step up to become a presenter. He has worked very hard over the last month and has practiced a ton with our Operations Manager, Perla Arias to prepare. I just wanted to give Pat a huge shout out for getting it done. To start the year, 100% of our employees agreed to participate in our Wellness Challenge for the month of January. Here are the rules: January Wellness Challenge: This is a fun way to get healthy in January.? It’s not 100% based on weight, but 100% based on creating some healthy habits.? You don’t have to log your weight for everyone to see, but you can.? Honor System - Everyone is on the honor system with putting in your scores. Winner with the most points will get a $200 USD bonus first paycheck in February. Here is the criteria: ?? Workout Points (1 point per 30 minute workout, up to 2 points maximum per day) ?? Healthy Eating Points (1 point per day for healthy meals logged). We will have to discuss exactly what this means. ?? Water Consumption - 1 point per day for drinking 64 ounces of water a day. ?? Weight Loss Point (1 point per 1% of weight loss) to determine weight loss, you: Starting Weight - Current Weight) / Starting Weight x 100 = % Weight Lost ?? Bonus Challenge:?You must hit 8000 steps a day Monday through Friday to earn 3 extra points this week (We have a different bonus task each week). Everyone seems pretty dedicated to inspire and motivate each other, so that makes me excited. Who else is doing something similar? And does anyone have monthly themes that you have done with your company? We are looking to do soemthing like this every month.

Such a great trip with future leaders!
I recently took a couple teams to my Alma mater where I played lacrosse for a small play day that Jason Childs put on. Two sophomores gave us a tour of the campus and the day culminated with coach talking to our guys. What a great experience for these players. Thank you coach Childs for being so kind to our guys. ?? ??
