The Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities at the United Nations is a truly unique forum. The voices of leaders from the disability rights movement take centre stage. It is a privilege to see this advocacy in action, and as a representative of Australia to join with others to highlight the critical issues of access to education, disability inclusive data, access to assistive technology, critical challenges in inclusive humanitarian action and disaster risk reduction and navigating the promise and risks of artificial intelligence. There are some fundamental issues to address, tools we have to hand, deeply committed partners and colleagues to work alongside and important opportunities to seize. Highlights ??
