With over 90 speakers visiting 80 different classrooms, nearly 1,500 Lowell students had the chance to explore career paths, hear real-world experiences, and get inspired for their futures. What a week! In just 4 days, we had over 90 speakers visit nearly 80 classrooms, sharing their career journeys and inspiring the next generation. ??From entrepreneurs to engineers, healthcare professionals to podcasters, marine biologists to local politicians, and DJs to athletes—students got a firsthand look at the endless possibilities for their futures. ???A huge thank you to all the local professionals who took the time to invest in our students. ?? Our Spring Cohort of Pathmakers has been on a roll! Since kicking off in mid-February, they’ve been sharpening career skills at Project LEARN, learning from industry pros, mastering lab techniques like micropipetting & genetic testing at HMS MEDscience, and diving into cell cultures & sterile room procedures at UMass Lowell. ??? Thanks to the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, this hands-on workforce training program is equipping future scientists with the skills, confidence, and know-how to launch their careers.
