We are thrilled to kick off our Menstrual Health Management Initiative at Olmoti Secondary School in Longido, Tanzania! This week 400+ female students received packages of locally sourced Reusable Sanitary Napkins to help increase regional industry! Over the next 6 months, we will be hosting menstrual health and hygiene management (MHHM) courses alongside our partners and co-designing MHHM solutions with teachers, public health professionals, and communities in Longido. The challenge menstruating girls face is often less tangible than only resource availability, but is rooted in social stigmas.
