On Tuesday, July 30th, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with our INTERCEPT Task Force along side multiple agencies, conducted "Operation INTERCEPT" targeting illicit massage businesses. The operation resulted in 11 arrests and the failure of all 10 businesses inspected by the Department of Health. Sheriff Kevin Rambosk emphasized the community's zero-tolerance stance on these illegal activities, which include prostitution, money laundering, and human trafficking. This effort marks the beginning of enforcing House Bill 197, a new Florida law aimed at disrupting these criminal enterprises and protecting potential victims. The CCSO was pivotal in the creation and passage of this legislation.

I am completely passionate on giving back and being present while showing an ample amount of support to organizations who have helped me, and or continue to make changes in community. There is so much good in the world, I refuse to let it go unnoticed! I truly do evolve when I am able to contribute to these nonprofit organizations that are so dear to my heart! DLC Prevention was on hand to share resources and show support for our community partner Project HELP, Inc. at the grand opening for their new forensic mobile mental health unit in Immokalee. The non-profit provides free resources and support including crisis counseling, sexual assault forensic exams, court advocacy, trauma focused therapy and more. This new unit improves access to care in rural parts of the County.
