The ENACT project is focused on developing easy-to-understand audiovisual news in web, radio and television settings.

关于我们

The ENACT project (Easy-to-Understand News for Collaborative Transformation), a pioneering European initiative, co-funded by the EU's Creative Europe programme. The project is led by RTV Slovenija and brings together partners from Spain (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, UAB; Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals, CCMA), Italy (Uniamoci APS), Austria (?sterreichischer Rundfunk, ORF ), and Latvia (Latvijas Radio, part of the Latvian Public Service Media). The project seeks to bridge linguistic, cultural, and societal gaps in media accessibility. It is designed to make news more inclusive and easier to understand on web, radio, and television platforms. The ENACT project will span two years and focus on three primary goals: 1. Upskilling media professionals through training and collaboration programs. 2. Developing shared guidelines for using clear and easy-to-understand language in media. 3. Promoting media literacy by engaging underrepresented groups, including people with disabilities and language learners. ENACT is co-funded by the European Union through the Creative Europe programme under the Journalism Partnerships – Collaborations call. The project aligns with European goals of promoting diversity, accessibility, and media transformation.
