We are excited to announce the launch of the Project Destined Private Equity Virtual Internship Program. The six-week program will provide students with live training in commercial real estate underwriting (financial modeling), the role of financial leverage, and sourcing capital for deals. Training sessions will be led by Graduate School Professors and a former Carlyle Group executive. Participants will engage in a team-based competition, working alongside brokers, lenders, lawyers, and owners to evaluate a real-world deal. Students will gain priority access to Project Destined’s Inaugural Student Investment Fund (SIF) and have the opportunity to earn a scholarship stipend. The Bridge Program will provide students with the opportunity to explore deal sourcing, due diligence, conceptual design, deal structuring and equity sourcing with Greystar Professionals in the North Carolina market. Through this live, multi-week program, students will attend interactive speaker sessions with sector leaders, skill-building workshops, and a site visit, providing participants with exposure to early career opportunities at Greystar.
