Beyond Food Foundation ?? This week, we’re highlighting Beyond Food Foundation, a wonderful initiative using the power of food to break down barriers and create brighter futures. Through their training and mentoring programs, they support individuals who have faced challenges such as homelessness, unemployment, or isolation, helping them build life skills, career opportunities, and a sense of purpose. ??? What they offer: ???? Freshlife Programme – A three-week course helping those furthest from work gain self-awareness, leadership skills, and career aspirations. ?? Work Experience – The support doesn’t stop there, they offer hands-on placements and long-term roles in the hospitality sector, equipping individuals with transferable skills, confidence, and teamwork. ?? A Holistic Approach – Coaching, mentoring, and personal development to empower people to stand on their own two feet. Beyond Food doesn’t just teach cooking, it helps people reconnect, rebuild, and rediscover their potential. ?? ?? This week, we want to highlight the incredible work of the Museum of Homelessness! More than just a museum, MoH is a social justice movement, using art, storytelling, and lived experience to document and challenge the realities of homelessness in the UK. Through powerful exhibitions, performances, and direct action, they ensure that stories too often ignored are heard loud and clear. What makes MoH special? ?? Creative storytelling – Sharing lived experiences through art and performance ?? Truth-telling exhibitions – Shedding light on the past and present struggles of homelessness ? Action & advocacy – Supporting people affected by homelessness through direct action and campaigns ?? MoH's research and campaigns is independently run, speaking from the direct experiences of those affected. In winter months the museum is closed and uses its space to support people during these cold months. ??
