Spent the past 2 days advocating for therapists, private practice owners, and families of kids with disablities at Capitol Hill meeting legislators, lobbyists, parents, and providers. Met with key people at Agency for Healthcare Administration Hearing hoping to make changes in our coding and reimbursement. Each time I visit Tallahassee I learn more and also learn we have voice-we just need to learn how to use it to advocate! Also thank you to the many families that came to Tallahassee today as it was Developmental Disabilities Day. Thankful to meet some amazing advocates in Florida!
