PEO Soldier is excited to welcome COL Mara Kreishman-Deitrick, who assumed the charter for Project Manager Solider Medical Devices (PM SMD) during an Assumption of Charter ceremony yesterday at Fort Detrick, MD. With her extensive experience in military medicine, COL Kreishman-Deitrick will drive initiatives that address the medical needs of Soldiers, enhance their care, and ensure that the equipment they use in the field supports operational effectiveness and survivability. PM SMD's mission is to develop, deliver, and sustain deployable medical capabilities for Soldiers across the force. #medicalreadiness

PEO Soldier recognizes October 14th, 2024 as #IndigenousPeoplesDay

LeapFest 2024, hosted by the Rhode Island National Guard this summer, gathered elite paratroopers worldwide to display their skills and build camaraderie. Participants used the MC-6 parachute system, judged on accurate and swift landings from CH-47 Chinook helicopters at 1,500 feet. The PEO Soldier Personnel Airdrop Team trained U.S. and international jumpmasters on the MC-6 for two weeks. Additionally, there was a foreign jump wing exchange to show international cooperation. #Survivability #Soldier #Airborne

PEO Soldier welcomes LTC Robert Haupt, who assumed the charter for Product Manager Soldier Treatment and Evacuation (PdM ST&E) during an assumption of charter ceremony yesterday at Fort Detrick, MD. PdM ST&E’s mission is to ensure personnel have the proper medical equipment to perform advanced lifesaving treatment, sick call services, stabilization, patient evacuation, and dental treatment in order to maximize return to duty.?The organization falls under Project Manager Soldier Medical Devices (PM SMD), which recently transitioned into PEO Soldier.?#medicalreadiness
