Progeny Coffee took over the Warriors Chase Center Private Events, sharing our farmer's coffee with more than 7K people last week. Praise God! Standing at the Arena, surrounded by cheers and a packed venue, I was humbled by the realization that Progeny Coffee had taken over a space larger than myself. A moment that reminded me of my roots, symbolized by the farmer's hat ring I always wear, connecting me back to little Maria at the farm. A big thank you to our exceptional Progeny Coffee team, John J. Trabelsi???????, Jesse Gonzalez, Marlon, Leidy, Jose, Miguel, and Julian, who started their days at 2 am, and still smiling until the end. Special thanks to Chef Kristela Nazario-Mendoza and Bon Appétit Management Company for their trust. Their partnership was pivotal in the success at the Warrior Chase Center.

40 under 40 most innovative and influential leaders celebration by San Francisco Business Times was very special and inspiring! The question I got asked was, “What was the best advice that your grandpa gave you?” Definitely an emotional question for me, but before he died, he told me to make sure to take care of the people of the land. Standing at the award ceremony, and needing to share his advice on stage, was a full circle moment, as I realized that with Progeny Coffee we are continuing his legacy by lifting farmers out of poverty.
