Some good news on International Women's Day 2025: Our very own Maria Walley has been recognized among the leading women in AI at the prestigious ASU+GSV Summit. Maria's contributions as our co-founder, content leader, board member and executive have shaped our company's success as well as the broader education ecosystem. Women-led companies are known to have better gender parity in leadership roles, and we are a classic example of that. We just hired the best people we could find, and 50% of our leadership and employees turned out to be women... Maria's authentic leadership played a key role in us attracting several talented women and led to us having better gender parity than most tech companies. Congratulations, Maria.

True story: Our co-founder Maria Walley has seen less than 10 birthdays in her life! Our team joined together to celebrate our incredibly popular Feb 29 born co-founder's birthday today. Her authentic style of leadership is something so many people in our company aspire to emulate.

We celebrated our co-founder Pranav Mehta's birthday today. He cut a cake - and it was accompanied by our team singing "Happy Birthday" in an embarrassing-sounding chorus! (yes, that's how we do it ??) We feel honored to work with an accomplished, kind human like him.

We had a great time at FETC last week. Meeting our amazing partners like Wendy Amato, who worked with us to pioneer the use of AI in teacher professional development, was the icing on the cake.
