We’re big believers in the "Power of &.” at P&G – Innovation that solves everyday problems through irresistible superiority that drives market growth and is more sustainable. Another “&”? Water savings and consumer delight! We’re a founding member of the 50 Liter Home Coalition, which recently recognized an exciting milestone. Its Los Angeles pilot showed how water efficiency can be both achievable and, importantly, enjoyable for people at home! The pilot program achieved a reduction of more than 20% in indoor water use vs. homes in the control group, where pilot participants were given consumer products designed to help save water and energy, as well as energy-efficient appliances and fixtures from 50L Home Coalition partners. The results and learnings gained from the Los Angeles pilot of the 50L Home are not only encouraging but also a testament to the immense power of partnership. We're celebrating a major milestone ahead of #WorldWaterDay: 24 billion liters of clean water delivered!???? We're marking this with Esta?a, a mother and teacher in Cedros, Honduras, and her family. For years, she, her parents — respected leaders in their community — and her extended family relied on a distant well with contaminated water, making them sick and forcing the students to miss school. Now, through our partner World Vision USA, P&G Purifier of Water packets are helping families like hers access clean water — each packet purifies 10 liters in just 30 minutes. Thanks to the #PowerOfCleanWater, Esta?a's family and students are healthier and attending school more regularly. Together with our partners, we're working toward 25 billion liters.
