We're celebrating a major milestone ahead of #WorldWaterDay: 24 billion liters of clean water delivered!???? We're marking this with Esta?a, a mother and teacher in Cedros, Honduras, and her family. For years, she, her parents — respected leaders in their community — and her extended family relied on a distant well with contaminated water, making them sick and forcing the students to miss school. Now, through our partner World Vision USA, P&G Purifier of Water packets are helping families like hers access clean water — each packet purifies 10 liters in just 30 minutes. Thanks to the #PowerOfCleanWater, Esta?a's family and students are healthier and attending school more regularly. Together with our partners, we're working toward 25 billion liters. Cecilia Colburn runs the largest Family Care site in the world. As the Mehoopany Family Care Plant Manager, Colburn is responsible for 90 acres of machinery that produce Bounty and Charmin products. It’s Colburn's job to oversee everything from product quality to cafeteria improvement plans. What does that mean? Colburn herself says it best. "A doctor once told me what I do is a lot like managing triage in the ER," she says. "I take in information, process quickly and make decisions — all to balance the safety, quality, production, cost, delivery and morale of 1,200 P&G employees." Colburn's favorite part of her job? Interacting with different people every day. "I get to learn fascinating things about the unique people who work for P&G, like what they are passionate about," she says.
