In US Naval aviation, stringent adherence to procedures is a matter of life or death. And that’s often true for your business too. My time in the Navy instilled in me the value of quality procedural documentation and the importance of continuous improvement. These experiences taught me the critical need for clear, concise, and actionable procedures to ensure safety and efficiency in high-pressure environments. Moving on to my time at IBM, I led sales and the implementation of complex data processing solutions. That experience further reinforced to me the need for well-structured, visually intuitive processes that can be easily understood and executed by teams. I feel very privileged to have had these experiences, as they’ve made me better at what I do, and helped me focus on how we do things differently at Process Delivery Systems. What past experiences do you think have shaped your perspective and purpose? #HenryDraughon #ProcessDeliverySystems #Purpose?

We boost team efficiency by turning text-based procedures into interactive workflows, unifying members quickly.
关于我们
Our mission is to eliminate confusion from complex procedures & enable teams to achieve faster, more knowledgeable, consensus-based, corporate-aligned outcomes. With the overwhelming volume of information today, team members can only afford 8 seconds to decide which procedures to pick & how to follow them. We are consulting practice focused on defining, capturing, & centralizing processes & related resources. This approach allows team members to understand quickly, collaborate efficiently, & make effective decisions. Although most processes may not risk lives daily, as experienced information technology professionals & process consultants, we understand the challenges in creating & maintaining quality procedures tailored to 21st-century workers. With nearly three decades of experience working with businesses across various industries, we have identified three persistent issues hampering team effectiveness: 1. Text-heavy procedures require more time & effort to understand & execute than team members can afford. 2. Disconnected, vague, broken, or missing processes & related resources causing team members to pull in different directions & take excessive time & effort to align. 3. Lack of clearly defined, end-to-end accountability. To resolve these problems, we recommend: ? A visually intuitive, road-mapped, interactive web-based process resource center. ? Comprehensive, connected processes & resources, all available within three to five clicks. ? Crystal clear process accountabilities - zero ambiguity. By developing a customized Process Resource Centre, businesses will experience dramatically reduced time wasted searching for resources in disconnected files & folders or on external sites. This enables teams to focus more on accomplishing their tasks. Hitting the mark consistently is not just a goal—it’s a commitment. Visually intuitive design is a fundamental part of our solutions at Process Delivery Systems. In this video, I outline key reasons why it’s a guiding principle for all that we do and create for our clients. When building solutions, keeping the principle of visual intuitiveness front and center leads to excellent results all round. #HenryDraughon #ProcessDeliverySystems #BuildingSolutions?

Laser focus isn’t simply about limiting your direction. It’s also about maintaining your focus on the factors that matter. That's why we design all of our procedural documentation to be visually intuitive and operationally consumable for your specific teams. We don't just throw text-heavy manuals at you and hope for the best. Instead, we optimize your process documentation with interactive visuals, clear structures, and contextual relevance to make our solutions easy to comprehend and apply. But it doesn’t end there. We then track key metrics to ensure your new system hits the mark. We look at adoption, onboarding, and more. Monitoring and assessing using the metrics that matter gives our team, and yours, an opportunity to keep on improving. #processoptimization #ProcessDeliverySystems

According to a study by Microsoft, the average human attention span has decreased from 12 seconds in 2000 to just 8 seconds in 2022. Isn’t that crazy? 20 years and we’ve lost 4 seconds of our attention span. Imagine how much shorter the average human attention span will be in another 20 years. Globally, we’re overwhelmed by information delivered to us every second of the day. From billboards to screens, and everything in between. I can’t see a future where the average attention span will increase, so we have to keep building for a future where it will be even shorter. #HenryDraughon #ProcessDeliverySystems #AttentionSpa

It’s not enough to simply sign up a client and get rolling with their project. There is so much more to it, and it starts with building an effective, transparent relationship. I outline our reasons and approach for steering clear of a one-size-fits-all approach, and the benefits it brings for our clients, in this video. #HenryDraughon #ProcessDeliverySystems #Partnership?

Here are four ways you can adapt your documentation to fit within the now typical 8-second human attention span: - Break down procedures into more digestible chunks. Break your content down into clear, concise steps or sections. - Eliminate the unnecessary details. Focus on the most critical steps and information. Avoid extraneous details that distract from the main points. Get straight to the point of what your user needs to know. - Use visuals to enhance comprehension. Incorporate diagrams, flowcharts, icons, and other visual elements to convey information more engagingly and memorably. Visuals help you get team members on the same page faster. - Structure your content for easy navigation. Organize procedures into a clear hierarchy with headings, subheadings, and bullet points. This enables your team to quickly scan and find the information they need. Can you think of any other ways to adapt your documentation? #visualelements #ProcessDeliverySystems #Documentation

The best type of leadership is leading by example. That’s why, at Process Delivery Systems, we apply the same methodology to our own internal processes and procedures that we do for our clients. That keeps us committed to continuous improvement, which leads to better results for our clients. I explain how we do it in this video. #HenryDraughon #ProcessDeliverySystems #ContinuousImprovement?

To measure the effectiveness of your documentation system, a data-driven approach is key. You'll want to track metrics that go beyond just readability or user satisfaction. Are your streamlined procedures and centralized resources enabling better alignment and faster issue resolution between departments? Are your workers making more confident, data-backed decisions thanks to the accessibility of critical information? Monitor these types of higher-level business outcomes so that you can identify where your documentation is truly driving measurable change. Then, talk to your teams! Get feedback from your teams to understand pain points and opportunities for optimization. Combine this qualitative insight with your quantitative data to continuously refine your documentation system and ensure it's meeting your business needs. #HenryDraughon #ProcessDeliverySystems #datadrivendecisions

Do you know about the PDS Accountability Framework? It’s designed to help your business implement and maintain effective cybersecurity practices aligned with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. The framework outlines a structured approach to identifying, assessing, and mitigating cyber risks across five core functions: Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, and Recover. A central component of the PDS framework is the emphasis on accountability. This involves clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and ownership for cybersecurity initiatives throughout your business. Being equipped to do so in an effective manner relies heavily on easy-to-use, intuitively designed documentation. #cyberrisk #ProcessDeliverySystems #CyberSecurity
