"How did you feel after a fall?" This was the question we asked #seniors during our first workshop focused on fall prevention and physical exercise. At our pilot sites??, alongside offering our PROCAREFUL technology, we are organizing a series of workshops for people over 55. These sessions aim to foster a sense of #community, encourage socialization and sharing among participants, and, of course, provide valuable insights into #health promotion and well-being! The response? Overwhelmingly positive! Seniors greatly appreciated the opportunity to connect, learn, and discuss important aspects of their health in a supportive environment. #FallPrevention

?? Finally, presenting our last pilot site in Poland! ???? The pilot testing in Poland is carried out by the OIC POLAND Fundacja Akademii WSEI in Lublin. It involves 7 dedicated formal caregivers from organizations such as the Forum of Lublin Non-Governmental Organizations, the Lublin Alzheimer's Association, and the Foundation of Christian Culture ARTOS, along with 35 seniors under their care??. Their goal is to encourage seniors to embrace technology for #preventive #healthcare and help them develop a systematic approach to their daily pro-health activities. The testing phase requires constant interaction to keep seniors motivated and provide support. What’s even more inspiring is the sense of #community created among the seniors. They actively discuss their app experiences, share progress, and support each other, fostering a collaborative environment that boosts motivation. #Innovation #SeniorCare #cooperationiscentral

Promoting Healthy Aging in Silea municipality: Discovering another PROCAREFUL Pilot Site The Municipality of Silea, nestled in the heart of Veneto region and home to 4,218 residents aged 55 and older, is committed to fostering well-being and active living for its citizens. Its population enthusiastically welcomed the possibility of testing the PROCAREFUL model aimed at promoting healthier lifestyles through social interaction, cognitive games, and physical activity. In Slovenia, there is another pilot site for the project! ???? Log-Dragomer is a small municipality with 1,355 residents aged 55 and older. Many are well-educated and live independently or with family in suburban areas. A significant number of seniors is in good #health and is looking for active ageing programs to maintain #physical and #mental activity, prevent loneliness, find meaning in old age, and ensure care during illness or disability. While informal #caregiving is common, caregiver burnout is becoming a growing concern. Additionally, the lack of a long-term care system and the increasing reliance on institutional care are key challenges, exacerbated by urbanization and changing family structures. ??
