At the League of Municipalities, I learned that tax lien investors account for approximately $200 million dollars of taxes paid every year throughout the State of New Jersey. This is money that goes directly into municipal budgets that was not paid by the property owner. As a result of this investment, taxes do not have to be raised. Services do not have to be cut. I am proud to be part of a system that keeps taxes lower while maintaining services to people who need them.

关于我们
At Pro Capital it is our desire to work in conjunction with municipalities to help them meet their budgets and maintain their housing; using private money to do a public good. We are a real estate investment company based out of Pennsauken and have been operating since 2009. We excel at investing in municipal tax liens across the North East, mainly in New Jersey. As one of the largest tax lien investors in the area, we are diligent with expanding our investment portfolio. Our investments in these communities increase the value of neighboring properties and supply funding for municipal services provided to all residents. We work in conjunction with local officials and members of the community to foster more economic growth for all parties involved.

NEWS UDPATE ?? Today marks a big win for the tax lien industry, as we celebrate Governor Phil Murphy signing NJ Bill S2334 (https://lnkd.in/eWQx6G6e), which was introduced by the TAX COLLECTORS & TREASURERS ASSOCIATION OF NEW JERSEY and supported by Pro Capital, LLC and the NTLA as well as many others — business can resume in NJ.

On average, New Jersey home owners pay just under $1 million of real estate taxes in their lifetime. For that hefty bill, they receive one of the best public educations in the country, access to some of the best healthcare, pristine beaches, protected parks and so much more. Some anti-tax groups want people to receive those same benefits but without having to pay the taxes that provide them. When you evade your responsibilities, you simply put more burdens on the shoulders of others. When you are paying almost $1 million dollars in real estate taxes, how much more burden can you withstand?

Projection is when you try to deflect criticism against yourself by blaming others of what you are guilty of doing. This article is a perfect example of that. The owners of these blighted properties stole equity from their neighbors. They created risks to their health and safety. They put first responders in elevated danger. And yet they complain that their rights are being taken away? People who own blighted properties are never the victims. They are the attackers, even if their attacks are passive. It is sad to see those who are doing a social injustice hiding behind the cause of social justice in order to continue their injustice.

Most of us will do the right thing because it is the right thing to do but some people will only do the right thing when compelled to do so. Tax lien foreclosures are what compels many people to pay their real estate taxes and paying your real estate tax is the right thing to do because it funds the roads you travel, the police and fire departments who keep you safe, the teachers who educate our children and the courts who settle our disputes. Don't let the PR machine of anti-tax groups mislead you. If you pay your taxes, support the reinstatement of tax lien foreclosures on those who don't.
