“A high salary will make you wealthy” But that’s not entirely true.. Here's why: 1 - If your salary is $1 million, and you spend $1 million = your net worth isn’t changing 2 - If you earn $50k, and save $20k = you are $20k richer than you were before 3 - If you earn $50k, and spend $80k (assuming maxing out credit cards and other loans), you’re getting farther away from wealth building A higher salary increases your potential to save, invest, and build more capital. But if you increase your standard of living more than you earn, then you’re getting poorer. Do the opposite, and you’ll build wealth much much faster. What do you think?
