关于我们
Pro Forma Futures (“PFF”) is an education initiative working to increase diversity in finance and consulting. We introduce candidates who are currently underrepresented across these industries (women, people of color, LGBTQIA+, and folks from other diverse backgrounds) to the various post-graduate opportunities available to them, then provide ongoing support as they pursue these roles. If you’re interested in a career in investment banking, private equity, sales & trading, equity research, corporate finance, wealth management, or consulting, the PFF team can inform you about the role, provide you with a network, and, critically, teach you how to succeed during the recruitment process. The PFF Team is comprised of young professionals that work in a variety of roles across the finance and consulting industries. We can provide advice and information that is both valuable and, traditionally, difficult to get access to. We’ve all been through recruiting recently enough to still remember the “blocking-and-tackling” aspects of it that more senior professionals are less familiar with. We also know what it’s like from the other side of the table; many of us now facilitate interviews on behalf of our employers and have additional insight into the candidate evaluation process. If you or your organization think we could be helpful, please do not hesitate to reach out! You are welcome to schedule one-on-one calls with any of our team members. We are also happy to give Zoom presentations to your school or club.

Our Fellows and volunteers closed out the year with dynamic December workshops in NYC, IL, and NJ! These intensive career readiness workshops help give first-gen students the tools they need to succeed in college and their careers. Fellows learned about building emotional intelligence in the workplace and creating a personal ‘board of directors’ – a group of individuals to advise Fellows and help them forge their own path. Our new CEO Alicia D. Guevara addressed participants in NYC and encouraged them to lean into their goals while protecting their well-being. We thank the Mentor Coaches and Career Coaches who supported the Fellows with their insights and guidance, and KPMG US for providing workshop space in Illinois. A special thanks to all the speakers and panelists – Matt Kushner from Pro Forma Futures and Brynwood Partners in NY. Fellow Zaa'min Jones’ and Mentor Coaches Christine Agnello from Acumen Group, Tim Gaughran from GSA, Mark Peisecki, Esq., CPA from USPTO, and Linda Devonish-Mills, CMA,CPA, CAE, MBA DEI Consultant?in NJ. IL Advisory Board panelists Ed Brice from Allstate, Paul Fayad from KPMG US, Carl-Martin Lindahl from RealTruck, Inc., and Carina Hira from PwC.? At the last workshop of the year for America Needs You (ANY) earlier this month, I had the privilege of attending an inspiring and insightful session. The day was filled with incredible networking opportunities and valuable learning experiences. A huge thank you to Matt Kushner, CEO of Pro Forma Futures, for sharing the impactful work his organization is doing to connect underrepresented students with industry mentors in finance. His words on mentorship and the importance of accessible resources resonated deeply with me. We also celebrated the holiday season with a festive gingerbread house-building event! ?? It was a pleasure to build gingerbread houses with some truly inspiring mentors: Vivek Nadig, Kevin Jiang, and Piyush Gupta, MBA, BEng (Comp Eng), CSP-PO. Hearing about their diverse experiences and career journeys in finance and product management was incredibly motivating. Thank you all for sharing their valuable advice on career growth, networking, and navigating the finance world. Thank you to the entire America Needs You team for offering such a transformative experience and helping me grow as a leader. Here's to more learning, growth, and success in 2025! ?? Wishing everyone a joyful holiday season filled with peace and growth! ?? #AmericaNeedsYou #Mentorship #HolidayCheer #ProfessionalGrowth
