This past weekend,Private School Village had the incredible honor of being part of the Black Joy Parade festival , and what a joyous day it was! ?? Standing among so many Black and Brown children and families, we were reminded why our work is so important. Access and support matter. Every child deserves the opportunity to see themselves thriving in spaces that have not always been built for them. At PSV, we are committed to making private school spaces more inclusive, ensuring that Black and Brown students not only have a seat at the table but also feel a deep sense of belonging. Moments like these—celebrating culture, community, and possibility—fuel our mission. Grateful to be part of this movement, and even more excited for what’s ahead! ? Huge thank you to our Bay Area school partners. As we build this emerging Northern California chapter we are grateful for your “Yes!” to equity and access. Thank you Yancie Davis Debbie E. We are thrilled to announce a new partnership between Private School Village (PSV) and True Voice, a social wellness app designed to promote mindfulness and mental well-being. Our goal is to address the mental health challenges faced by students, families, and educators in private school communities. We believe that by providing access to the True Voice app, we can empower our community to prioritize their mental well-being. (Important side note: private school students are categorically "at risk" of developing mental health issues because of rigor and the pressure to succeed; add the experience of being one of a few, or the only one, and it's understandable how well-being can be challenged). Through True Voice, PSV community members, including students, parents, and educators, gain access to mindfulness programming like guided meditations, live wellness sessions, and tools to build resilience and strengthen connections.
